Search not responsive on big amount of data

When I'm trying to open table with 857 rows and search against that table using your plugin, I see page is not responsive for several seconds (from four to ten seconds).
If this is caused by trial of highlighting the first input character in all 857 rows, can this be possible turned off somehow or optimize search engine?

Maybe... Good question. I currently do not have time to support the plugin, it is open source. Have a go at it yourself and see what you can do. ;)

I used for my purposes another plugin which doesn't hang on search (PageBlockTableEnhancerADV Component) http://blogforce9dev-developer-edition.ap1.force.com/PageblockTableEnhancerADVDemo
