Hi @mommyMe.
Yep, you're right, the storyboard example is very simple. Only sliding gestures allow to open/close panels. This example's purpose is to show how the set up a storyboard to be able to use my controller.
I'm working on a new Swift version of MSSlidingPanelController, and I will rewrite every examples. So, stay tune! ;-)
