Email notification stopped

WM/SMW system was working to email group members about pending approvals for a form. Client wanted to change terminology, using Word2 instead of Word1, in forms, templates, category added to, etc. Once I did that substitution, email notification stopped working.
The entire system works as before (form uses template, template adds to category), but email is not notifying the group.
There is a Notification Reports category which I can't find documentation for. Notification Reports for each form were created with the first system but aren't being created with the second.
In WatchlistConditions, I changed the watch to the new category and ensured it was marked in my profile.

As noted on IRC, it'd be very helpful if you could verify the problem also occurs when using Semantic Watchlist 1.0 (the release itself, not some alpha version)
As I do not want to start a new issue and as it touches my problem as well, I have set up a test systemj in order to mess around of the SWL extension a bit and see whether I can fix the error. Interestingly, even in the standard installation setting, I am unable to get the mail notification working, even though the setting is basically the same as with the one of the productive system; where SWL had been installed at some point until it had been deemed too buggy to use it -- see my other threads.
The apache logs to do not show any mail, there are also no errors shown. I am able to send mails through the MW extension and also mail via terminal. It appears that the mail notification is anything but stable.
Closing due to inactivity. Notifications seem to work now.
