Not all characters showing up

When I click the give item to another player thing, not all players are available in the drop down list. Is there a reason this happens? I can see some, but not all.

Just solved this myself. Some players have not selected their character. Right click their name in the player list (bottom left) and add their character to their user configuration. They will then appear in the list.
