[Feature Request]: Survival features

What would you like to request?
Each player would be able to choose to use this feature upon world creation. It could be as simple as hunger thirst and energy. Food restores hunger, liquids for thirst and sleeping for energy. Running out could result in a blackout. It would add an additional layer of strategy to the game and really immerse players into the "Wilds" portion of the game
Later on additional survival features could be added like detrimental effects based on the players hunger, thirst and energy levels, boosts for maintaining proper levels for specific amounts of time, etc.
Cool idea!
An additional status bar to manage with this feature could be Temperature. 0 is the baseline, -1 is cold, and 1 is hot. Your Exposure Rate is the cumulative modifier that raises or lowers the Temperature bar.
Temperature is affected by:
- Tile types that affect your Exposure Rate with different modifiers (beaches, deserts, lava make you hot at different speeds, tundras and frigid water make you cold, water quickly brings you back to zero, campfires slowly warm you).
- Moves used by wild Pokémon during battles tick your Temperature bar directly (fire heats you up, water cools you down, ice freezes you).
- Physically exerting yourself by running, building, cutting, digging, or smashing affects your Exposure Rate.
New items and materials added to the crafting mechanic for the temperature management dynamic include:
- Umbrella - Parasol (obtained from parasect, victreebel, and venusaur) and silky thread.
- Sun Hat - Straw (bellsprout) and silky thread
- Thermal Jacket - Leather (tauros and miltank) and soft feathers
- Sunscreen - Aloe vera (bulbasuar-line) and coconut oil (exeggutor)
A global weather mechanic can affect the battle environment, activate abilities, modify certain moves, and potentially damage the Pokémon in battle or affect their stats. It could further emphasize the wilds theme and survival status bar management feature by affecting your exposure rate, creating a dynamic where players must prepare for the weather before adventuring by crafting the proper gear and tents to face the weather.
