Button Destination: single product page on Wordpress

I'm trying to find a solution for using the buy button with Wordpress. I would like the button destination to be a single product page on the Wordpress site, instead of a modal or linking back to the Shopify store. Has anyone found a solution to this?
I am new to working with Shopify (I understand more of woocommerce but need to use Shopify for this project), so I'm hoping this is possible.
