Invalid UDID when sideloading ipa to Apple TV

Attempting to sideload any ipa from Github to my Apple TV titled "iTV-2022" results in an error stating "This device's UDID is invalid", which is odd considering I've had the UDID under my developer account since last year. I'm running macOS Sonoma, and Xcode 15, with my Apple TV running on tvOS 17, paired to Xcode and connected. This issue persists between my MacBook as well as my Mac Studio. Is there anything I've missed, or is this an issue with SideServer?

We honestly didn't expect people to use sideserver to be usable on AppleTV at the moment. It's likely possible the issue is that since there's no direct connection that there is no pairing file it can make from usb. You might need to use altserver in this case for now. We do plan on supporting appletv with sidestore app and likely on computer too. Direct installing via sideserver should of worked so we will have to fix this bug.

Were you trying to install sidestore or was it some other app?

I was trying to sideload Provenance for tvOS, but now that you mention the direct connection bit it probably makes sense since unlike AltServer's Mail plugin workaround SideServer utilizes a VPN config to handle the connection (which I haven't looked into yet since I always sideload tethered to my iPhone and iPad).

It's nothing about VPNs during the install as that's manually setup on the idevice not from sideserver. Also we don't need to use mail plug-in since you can get what you need directly from macOS.
