The version off the app in Google Play is 1.13 from June 21, 2018. The latest release in this repo is 1.12.1. Are there changes that have not been committed yet?

No. Building the latest master will give you the version found on Google Play (APK was uploaded on December 13th 2017, but not rolled out to everyone until June). The update is not very interesting, only some string changes to be compliant with a new Google Play policy, tiny UI tweaks, removing the accessibility service on non-ancient Android versions (again, to be compliant with Google Play policy), and disabling lock screen settings because they don't work properly on most devices running SDK >= 26. Will upload the APK to GitHub releases shortly
