I put a tee in with a shut off and quick connect, then use rubber hose and quick connect on other end to hook up to my grill. Works great and I love it as don't have to worry about carrying propane for my grill.

I ran a line from the tank under the motor home to a quick connect I put in the pull out bin on the passenger side. I use it for a gas grill. I also set up a regulator with a male end on it that I can use to supply gas to the MH from a propane tank when needed, sort of a home-made Extend A Stay. I did everything on the low pressure side, I would feel really nervous about tapping into the high pressure side of the gas system.

I have yet to see an off the shelf kit that will work on our RVs with inboard LP tanks. One would need to fabricate a custom setup. Usually one taps into the high pressure side before the regulator. This gives the ability to hook up a portable LP tank to feed the RV system or run LP things like stoves, grills, etc off the RV. Each of these will need its own regulator.
Option 2 is tap into the regulated (low pressure) side. Then one would use LP devices without regulators. This is frequently done on camper trailers with externally mounted stoves/grills. One cannot run the RV off an external LP tank with this setup.

I recently had a quick connect installed on our 2014V. Went to a gas fitter and he installed a T near the main tank. With parts and labour a little over $100. Works great and no need to store bottles anymore. Paul 2014NV
