Temasys is seeking senior-level Full Stack JS Engineers with strong front-end skill sets to join our JS products team. We are a Singapore based startup with offices in Palo Alto, CA and Singapore offering a CPaaS solution for real-time communications SDKs backed by high-availability global communications infrastructure.
This Senior level position is located in our Singapore offices.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Evolving the JavaScript SDK effort to continuously improve the product
- Working tightly with the native SDK teams to ensure feature parity and cross compatibility
- Refactoring the Javascript SDK where necessary to improve testability and stability
- Maintain internal and external technical documentation
- Help identify and build new use-cases for the SDK products
- Work with the platform team to ensure seamless integration of the SDK and Platform
- Act as a mentor to more junior members of the team.
Requirements
Essentials
- 4+ Years of working in a professional software development role or demonstrated equivalent skill level
- Strong proficiency with JavaScript in a browser environment
- Solid working knowledge popular JS frameworks and related tooling
- Experience working with asynchronous software implementation
- CS Degree or equivalent work experience
- Experience working with agile software development practices
- Ability to work in a globally distributed team
- Intermediate knowledge of Node.js software development and testing techniques.
Desired
- Experience in cross-platform development and responsive layouts
- Prior experience working with media and/or audio for the web
- Previous experience in working with communications software
- Functional knowledge of TCP/IP and UDP networking
- Experience working with Cloud Computing Vendors and/or Container services
