This document again seems like it has a lot of good resources. However, the sagittal website points to this document for developers wanting to develop software to interface with Sagittal notation, so there might be some useful/important things to note there.

The basic idea here is to translate Sagittal symbols into JI pitch space $\equiv \mathbb{Z} \times \mathbb{Z} \times \mathbb{Z} \times ...$, which can then be translated to various regular temperaments where enharmonic equivalents will be tempered out.
