Save files gone

I upgraded from 1.5.97.34 to .38, (Been doing a Kitchen Reno for WAY too long) and now all my save files have disappeared. There was an option before to save games by locations, which got moved to the game settings, but even after enabling said options, all my saves, including for the Palace of Ice.
Any suggestions on how to get them back? Or are they just gone?
