Restructure content into index/proof/definition name spaces

StatProofBook opened this issue · 1 comments

It is intended that the current file/folder structure is changed in the following way:

  • rename "Indexes" to "I": files from the index name space (e.g. "Table_of_Contents.md")
  • rename "Proofs" to "P": files from the proof name space (e.g. "mvn-ltt.md")
  • create new folder "D": files from the definition name space (e.g. "mvn.md")

The purpose of the shorter folder names is that links to an index, a proof or a definition get shorter and can be more quickly inserted. (Note: The links in the previous sentence will not work here.)

This issue has been resolved, primarily via commits 896be08, dd2bdf2, 1c9d43c, 8ed4951, 4010a2c, 8eeae2f, 8634523. All proofs added up to this point (up to P28) are still located in a sub-folder "Proofs", such that old links such as this one e.g. published on Twitter still work, until a better solution is found. Examples for new pages:

As soon as all dependencies are removed from old proof files (up to P28), the related Issue #22 will also be closed. Within-text cross-references are already in use for new submissions and are simply implemented as Markdown links.
