Given the concentration of activity on the cellular/mobile infrastructure edge, it seems the glossary should attempt to document and explain this concept. There are plenty of examples for the citation files, from the original MEC ("Mobile Edge Computing") to more recent print articles like this one: Do we really need a mobile edge?
Entry added, which can be updated:
Mobile Edge
A combination of infrastructure edge, device edge and network slicing capabilities which are tuned to support specific use cases, such as real-time autonomous vehicle control, autonomous vehicle pathfinding and in-car entertainment. Such applications often combine the need for high-bandwidth, low-latency and seamless reliability.
