the cursor update rate could be much better
game suppor is essential. is this HID? i use droid4.

The update interval completely depends on your network capabilities. The app sends up to 60 updates per seconds, the server has no limit at all. If your router can't handle the traffic fast enough or is dropping data packages, you won't get a smooth control.
