How to accelerate program operation?

Opened this issue · 1 comments

Hi! I am very interested in your work and I am working hard to try to run your code. However, I encountered some problems and the most difficult one was that the code was running too slowly.

According to the settings in the config and the actual time required for the code to run an epoch, I think the speed of this code seems a bit strange. In my testing, the actual running speed of each epoch is about 10 minutes or more, which seems too slow. It would take a lot of time to complete 500 epoch runs at this speed!

I would like to know if I have overlooked some operations that can accelerate during operation, or how did you solve this problem?

I hope to receive your reply!
Your sincerely.

Hi! I have successfully run your code, but the results obtained seem to differ significantly from those in section 4.2. May I ask if you have updated the code in the future? Is the current code the latest version? And does the "number of train steps total" that appears in direct operation correspond to the horizontal axis in Figure 1, and does "ulam_AverageReturn_all_test_tasks" correspond to ANOLE (ours)?
I hope to receive your reply!
Your sincerely.
