Click the repair button in the options tab in the Modrinth App and try again. My best guess is that your forge install is corrupt/incomplete, so hopefully that will fix it.

Yes, you should try running it using the Modrinth app. I only test the pack on the Modrinth App as that is how most people will use it.
You probably won't have to repair it first as it will be a completely new instance if you were using a different launcher before.

I don't know, but the error is coming from Forge, so either the other launcher's Forge install is corrupted/incomplete or is preventing Forge from doing something. For now, just keep using the Modrinth App.
