URL not in search index?

Searching for the very specific name of my client, including details from the website, I am not able to see the URL pop up in any search results which is no problem with any other Search Engine so far.
Are there any criteria which might lead to a site not being indexed at all?

This is most likely a case where our index isn't sufficiently large enough yet. There is currently no criteria that would directly cause a website to not be indexed. The websites are prioritized using their harmonic centrality, so getting backlinks from reputable sources would greatly increase the likelihood of getting added to the index faster.

You can search for site:example.com to check if the site is in the index.
