Organize references numeric is not working when there are references with numbers and letter

Opened this issue · 3 comments

Hey!

When you choose numeric sorting organize references is not working if there are some references with numbers and others with letters. If they are all numbers is working, or if there are some with letters and the numeric ones start with letters. However, if some of them are just numeric and some others are words the tool just select the references at the bottom of the document and that's it.

When you choose alphabetical order this is not happening.

What is finally happening with this? I received an email awhile ago stating that you can't reproduce the error and when I came here to check it out it was nothing… are you considering this a bug or not?

I failed to reproduce. But it turned out I had choosen the wrong setting. That's why I removed my false statement again.

The issue is caused by a type conflict in case no numbers can be extracted from a reference's name.

I haven't found an easy fix and thus it's further pending.

Thanks! Sorry for bother you again! Just wondering since there was no labels or anything.
