Testing thoughts

Written down about a year ago, but still relevant; making public and trackable:

• need to be able to load code zips and or a db quickly
  • from scratch loading will be slow
  • mock things?
  • pg-dump and pg-load & docker-compose are good ideas. https://www.prisma.io/dataguide/postgresql/inserting-and-modifying-data/importing-and-exporting-data-in-postgresql
• Tyler’s SOAP side: just don’t assume the existence of certain info
  • we do need to hit the test servers everytime: tests are useless if we don’t
  • it’s gonna be slow: deal with it
