Setting up GnuPG should be one of the pre-requisites mentioned in the read me, specially for windows users

Hi @hirak1984 you're signing a local build of the appender?
We use "sign" in order to sign the artifact before uploading to Maven Central, but the end user shouldn't need to run this.
