Is it possible to swtich to LaTeX like formatting for mathematical symbols (for example, algorithm complexity)?

@chaitjo GitHub Flavoured Markdown doesn't support LaTeX as far as I know so it won't render nicely on the browser. You can, however, use pandoc (which supports inline LaTeX Math) and create a PDF? Example here.
