Upon checking out the tag 2.3.4 the 2.3.3 archive is found inside the monitor folder. Checking out bleeding master on commit 94bea54ad2022ea01aa2ea3e7e4c39a77bd83d0c yields the 2.3.4 archive, but this lacks the tacc_statsd_systemv.spec file with the correct version to build the RPM without modifications following the documentation.
