Table on the Asset Overview is not recoloured

Asset Management has released the asset table rewrite of the Asset Overview, which uses a Design System component. We have received feedback from the customers that the recoloring is npt applied and it is straining on their eyes.

@Mezeskarika Recoloring of all DS components used is done in principle.

I will have to look specifically into the unique situation of the Asset Overview, but it will almost certainly turn out that some work by the team is required to expose the DS components for recoloring.

The AM overview page has been recolored to the best of my abilities right now. Several issues remain, that require the AM team to help out from their end.

  • It is not possible to change the colors of the (bulk) edit button.
  • It is not possible to change the colors of the links in the table.
  • The color of the checkbox in the checked state is inconsistent with the other Design System tables, due to interference by the pagination.
  • The color of the loading status indicator is inconsistent with the other Design System tables, due to interference by the search field.

Will keep this issue open to track progress on the remaining problems

  • The colours of the (bulk) edit button in the default state are now consistent with the other buttons
    • on hover TOPdesk overrides the colours again, but at least this is readable, on a small part of the interface, and only as long as the user hovers on the button.
    • on focus the button can become unreadable now, but vanilla keyboard access on this page is so bad I think nobody will be using the keyboard here to trigger this state. Also, expectations are that this area will be redone in the foreseeable future.
  • The links in the table now take on the primary colour.
  • Checkbox colour will remain inconsistent. It is workable.
  • loading status indicator will remain inconsistent. It is workable.
