I cannot install caretaker_instance on typo3

I cannot install caretaker_instance on typo3 because of the error message : The package "caretaker_instance" depends on "typo3/cms" which is not present in the system.

Is it because of my System? what could i do?

Thanks for your report.
Sorry, this might be a bug introduced recently when i worked on the composer.json.
I will check and fix it in the next days.

Which TYPO3-Core version do you use in your instance?

as a quick workaround, you could try to remove these two line in the composer.json
