Not working on Windows 8

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Download 1.0.6
2. Extract
3. Run on Windows 8
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
When opening, the only thing that shows is an error message:
"Class not registered, ClassId: {9C042297-D1CD-4F0D-B1AB-9F48AD6A6DFF}"
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Using version 1.0.6 on Windows 8 (RTM)
