Call console with a neutral keyboard layout

Using it-IT schema the console doesn`t appear
Perhaps changing to https://wiki.libsdl.org/SDL_Scancode

I had a think about this today and I'll change the keyboard shortcut to SHIFT + TAB, which should be pretty universal.
