What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Shift+click to Grab Iinydps unit frame to reposition it
  2. Move it, but let go of shift before letting go of click- oops!!! you are screwed now!
  3. nothing you can do will let you do anything except move the stupid frame all over the screen!!! No way to release it to get back to gameplay

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expect to be able to release the unit frame and click on OTHER things in the user interface to resume gameplay. But cursor is locked to the unit frame forever. only option is to alt-tab out of WOW and close the window outside of the game. In other words, nuke the game by force a close using windows task manager. Or else power switch in the PC. Other wise, you should just have fun moving the unit frame all over the screen, because that's all you will be able to do in WOW until the cows come home. At least if you want to use the mouse! Can't even click on teh menu that pops up when you hit the esc key to exit the game... got to nuke the current session and log back in. thsi always seems to happen to me in the middle of raids and i get kicked.

What version of the product are you using?
5.0.4 something

Do you have an error log of what happened?
how can I get an error log, when I can't interface with the game at all?? tinydps grabs the cursor focus and will not let it go no matter what.

Please provide any additional information below.

I'm not able to reproduce this. I've tried releasing the Shift key before the Left-click and then releasing the Left-click before the Shift key. Both ways successfully stopped the frame from dragging upon release. Please try to recreate the problem with only TinyDPS enabled to see if there is a potential conflict with another addon.

I've experienced this with other addons in the past and you can quickly resolve the situation where you're unable to interact with other game elements by typing /reload. There is no need to force the game to close with Alt+F4 or by ending the process within the Task Manager.

I also have this problem while doing BG and sometimes dungeons, it doesn't happen while playing normally. Would be nice to get this fixed.. quite annoying.

Hello there!

It'ssssss the same problem for me now. So what to do, use the activity-command and kill WoW, then delete tiny dps and stop using it until everything is fixed.? That is the way I will try now, and as I wrote, then I just wait for you to fix it all. Would be really nice to have it I thoght.

Hope you'll have a fast success in solving this problem.

Warm Regards
It'sssss MonthyPython'

I can confirm that dragging the UI where you want it and typing /reload will drop it where it sits and unlock it from your cursor.

happen sometimes for me so i use /reload

Thanks for the fix. Monty must throw food away when wrapper gives him trouble... Amazing some people can navigate thru life and survive at all...
edit: BTW best and easiest damage meter yet. Thank you.
