so I don't think the issue is that it's not updating because some of my styles are there: it's floated to the left, the layout of the date & time and the header is there. it's just not retrieving all the styles?

i think maybe <img src="images/techatnyu.png"> is actually not being loaded and therefore is not taking up any space for the header to show?
