No way to run with optirun under Linux

joern-h opened this issue · 3 comments

I use Bumblebee and have to run a java programm with "optirun java -jar minecraft.jar" to start it with GPU support.
But i find no way how to activate it in the launcher.

Note: in Steam, i can add "optirun %command%" to launching arguments.
It would be awesome to have a checkbox to choose to use optirun.

I know Java, but i never have done sth. with Maven and i dont know how setup this project in eclipse/intellij IDEA.

If someone can give me a instruction how to setup this project in eclipse or intellij IDEA, I probably could implement this myself and create a pull request.

This is indeed still relevant in 2019.

Still relevant in 2020.
Same thing with PRIME render offloading (prime-run).
Setting up a wrapper option for the command that runs the Minecraft jar should work.
This is a feature on MultiMC.
