Can we use it for GA4 data layer formats?

Can we use it for GA4 data layer formats? I have checked that that is UA format but UA will be shut down next year. So we need GA4 format data layer code.

@engarifulislam I did this https://github.com/paolobtl/GA4-Shopify-Ecommerce-dataLayer using TechnicalWebAnalytics's implementation. The dL is working fine, feel free to let me know if you find some bug

I woul suggest to add the GTM/gTag at the end so the dataLayer will be already in place when the page_view tag fires

@paolobtl, thank you for providing the GA4 data layer format! Do you know if using the new format has advantages over using the version of @TechnicalWebAnalytics like standardized reports or is it more like a nice to have thing?

Hi!
At the technical level, there are no great advantages. The new format allows you to have fewer variables in GTM since it always uses the same ecommerce:{} object.

remove cart event doesnt seem to work for me? Anyone else having this issue? any suggestions on how to resolve it.

Looks like this page https://github.com/paolobtl/GA4-Shopify-Ecommerce-dataLayer does not exist anymore.
