Who?

kicker.cloud is a B2B SaaS company streamlining processes and enhancing data usage in large scale investment transactions. We help companies achieve operational efficiencies, build a base for data analytics, and reduce operational risk. The solution is tailored to the private finance sector (e.g. PE, PD, M&A), with applications far beyond. The mission is to remove the systemic inefficiencies in the industry by applying cutting technologies to real problems.

The founding team have years of experience working in investment roles and building enterprise level systems in top organisations in London and New York. We are currently a team of 2 with the aim of growing to 6 in the coming months.

Where?

Helsinki / London. We offer significant freedom and flexible working - we care about work product, not working hours. Remote / hybrid work is possible.

When?

Early 2023 start ahead of piloting program launch.

What?

Looking for exceptional talent (first experienced hires) to join us for the ride. Developing the solution from an early stage, so significant freedom to build using the best tools without constraints.

Senior Front-End Developer

  • Leadership on product development, mentoring / managing team members, work with clients to gather requirements
  • Developing pixel perfect modern UIs from scratch: Javascript (React, NextJS, etc) + desktop frameworks (Tauri / Electron)
  • Eye for design with responsibility over UX of new areas of the platform
  • Focus on SDLC (inc front-end security, e.g. client side encryption), and TDD
  • Cloud (AWS) native development experience

Full Stack Developer

  • Frontend: Javascript (React, NextJS, etc), Backend: Python (core django). Databases: PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis
  • Figma (or similar) - pixel perfect design transaltion
  • Consuming and writing REST APIs (CRUD, GraphQL) and websockets
  • SDLC best practices and secure network communications, along with TDD drive
  • Scalable and secure cloud development practices
  • Designing and building efficient dev-ops and deployment pipelines - GitHub, Docker, AWS, nginx

Compensation

4,500-7,000 EUR monthly salary + stock options
