What You'll Do (Job Description)

Triage, an award-winning and top-ranked medical staffing agency experiencing unprecedented growth, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Product Designer. Headquartered in Omaha, NE, with an additional office in Loveland, OH, Triage is at the forefront of the healthcare industry, connecting thousands of traveling healthcare providers with facilities across all 50 states.

This role offers a flexible work arrangement, with the option to work remotely, hybrid, or in-office at our offices in Omaha or Cincinnati.

As a Senior Product Designer, you will play a crucial role on the Technology Team at Triage in shaping innovative and disruptive technology solutions to support the company's continued growth.

What You Need to Be Successful (Skills)

Responsibilities:

Take ownership of the full spectrum of product design work, from ideation to high-fidelity design, driving the success of our product offerings.
Apply a combination of business and product goals, user perspectives, new opportunities, and technical constraints to create outstanding designs.
Collaborate closely with peers and stakeholders, showcasing your persuasive and influential communication skills to align them with your design vision.
Demonstrate a passion for making a positive impact in the lives of healthcare professionals and hospitals through your design expertise.
Optimize current product states while driving innovation and advocating for the most effective approach.
Plan and execute UX research, ensuring the user perspective is consistently incorporated into the design process.
Create high-fidelity design mockups and prototypes using Figma, enabling engineers to easily understand and implement the designs.
Stay informed about product and business goals, vision, and roadmap to align design with the overall strategy.
Work closely with engineering partners to understand technical constraints and opportunities, ensuring designs are implemented as intended.
Contribute to the evolution of Triage's design system, design operations, and research operations.
Provide a thoughtful point of view on addressing challenges and seizing opportunities.

Qualifications:

Extensive experience in owning, nurturing, and growing design within a specific product vertical, resulting in measurable improvements to the product.
Demonstrated ability to create designs that drive revenue or cost savings for the organization.
Strong experience in maturing and evolving design systems or creating them from scratch.
Proficiency in implementing UX research methodologies.
Proven ability to socialize design processes and impact, making design more accessible to colleagues across the organization.
Comfort leveraging qualitative and quantitative data to inform design solutions.
Proactive in staying updated on the latest design tooling and methodologies.
Excellent communication skills, with a clear and persuasive style that garners positive feedback.
Experience in healthcare SaaS, HealthTech, or a transitioning fast-growth startup to enterprise-scale expansion is a plus.
Clinical background or knowledge of the healthcare staffing industry is desirable but not required.
