Feature Request: Icon Masks...

On a Jailbroken iPhone, many themes add a mask to all the app icons. I'll provide a link to what this looks like at the end.

While ideally in Linux, this would be provided at a low level rendering point in something like gtk, I started thinking there are really only a few apps that show icons: Gno-Menu, Dash to Dock, Nautilus, etc.

I'm contacting hoping you'll help make my dream come true. ;-)

Here's a link what I'm looking for, though the offered shapes don't appeal to me. I was thinking circular, square, rounded square masks.
