Stuck on "Waiting for Among Us"

I built this from source by running dist-linux and running the appimage, but the program gets stuck on "Waiting for Among Us" then shows an error screen when I quit out of the game. I'm on NixOS. I'll edit with more info if you need it.

Nevermind, I was not running it as root.
