This is not insinuating that this should be done, but rather that - contrary to what the README claims - it can be done**, and is in fact encouraged:

If you're proposing a feature to WG21 (the C++ Standardization Committee), you're welcome (and encouraged!) to use our code as a base for a proof-of-concept implementation.

** to be fair, the opensourcing of STL is fairly recent and they're still in the process of getting it into shape.

What is on GitHub is the Standard Library. This is a compiler feature.

I don't know how you expect me to inject compiler technology into a standard library.
