zoom enhance not functioning at all. many recent additions, zero explanation.

with latest automatic update zoomenhance seems to just leave a black face in the replacement area. tried many things, nothing works. occasionally completely errors out and stops working. require webui restart.

attempted fresh install. didnt work. unable to determine any cause. when it works it just places a black patch over any masked area.

no other type of error was able to be recorded from the webui CMD window.

i am not surprised at all its broken with the new automatic1111 update but id realy love if you could get it working ASAP. otherwise ill have to reinstall and older version of automatic1111, as zoom enhance is vital to my production workflow.

would also be nice if you could explain some of these things you have put in the latest updates, particularly for zoomenhance. like you have added several new fields and not explained anywhere what they do and why they were added. i tried to check thru the version history, but if something is there, its not explained. negative mask is pretty self explanatory.
but Hires size max 🡢 hires_size_max

makes no sense....what is it? and [if batch_index=0] why is this added to the short code? you have bricked every single preset i have made because you changed the code in the prompt field. if its serves a purpose, great. what purpose? why did it change?

Masking tech method 🡢 mask_method

Sharpen amount 🡢 sharpen_amount

why all the clip methods? the other one worked fine. why sharpen? what does it do?

Color correct method 🡢 color_correct_method

3 letter abbreviations of 5 different things. what are these? what does the slider even do?
Color correct timing 🡢 color_correct_timing
pre? post? why?

anyway, thanks, zoom enhance its probably the best extension for SD imo. im a bit sad to see it broken so much and the documentation being so lacking....hope to see it working again soon.

I'm glad to have more options to play with (especially the color correction options) but I agree that it would be useful to get some information on what these different options are and how they perform. It can be time consuming (especially on older hardware) to try every permutation of the new options to try and figure out what they do.

This! I'm using a brand-new desktop, but before buying it, I was using A1111 through paid cloud platforms. Time is money in such a context.

But time in itself is a resource and not everybody can pass a whole evening trying to figure how a feature does work. And even there, learning through experimentation is very difficult if each experimentation requires a lot of computation time.
