hupnp test media server discovery very long or do not work

Hi,

I tried to test this Qt5 port of Hupnp library implementation, and start the avtest tool to enable network sharing of one photo directory with some DLNA compliant device, as Bravia Sony TV, PlayerExtreme Media under iPad, or VLC upnp discovery plugin under Linux, none discover the server instance running on my Linux server. the upnp-inspector show the Hupnp server while i run it on the Linux Server, but after at least 20-30 seconds.

On my local network a miniDLNA run on a NAS and is discovered properly everywhere (with upnp-inspector included).

So where is the problem ? network configuration (not firewall here) ? Hupnp settings (XML description files) ? Internal bug of Hupnp ?

Actually I have not tried since a log time the Media Server test application, since I use HUPnP for media rendering.

I tried with test application from Platinum SDK to run a quick Upnp/AV file mediaserver, and it work as expected with all DLNA clients from my network.

So, it's not a network configuration problem, it's a bug certainly in Hupnp.

I'm very interested to the media server feature to include in my open source application. So if i can help, let's me here...

I have tested quickly, and I have the same issue with the test application (but it works great with media renderer). Unfortunatly, I am currently very busy, and I am afraid that I will not have enough time to investigate ...
