USB has a max current of 500ma, however the 1.1v rail on the ECP5 can pull >1A. Change some of the regulators in the tree to buck regulators to gain extra amperage on the 1.1v rail.

Current plan will be to either use a buck regulator on the 5v->3.3 rail, or change the power tree to use a buck regulator from 5v->1.8v, then an LDO from 1.8v to 1.1v.
