Conda installs older (main) versions by default

Currently conda installs older versions of the toolkit (labelled as main) by default from the channel. In my case the version linux-64/ccpi-regulariser-19.02-np114py35_0.tar.bz2 has been installed which is almost 4 months old and doesn't work with other updated software.
The question is do we want to label versions more frequently or when dev actually becomes main?
