Bethesda disconnection

Opened this issue · 14 comments

It was linked few days ago but now it is disconnected and can not connect more than a few seconds

Same issue. It's happening from the last update GOG Galaxy 2.0.44.

Adding on to confirm. Disconnected after the update, signed in again, the Bethesda screen popped up, disappeared as normal, connected, and then shortly after disconnected. I can now click connect over and over again with a short connection that leads to a disconnection shortly (almost immediately) after.

Same here.
Just installed Galaxy 2.044, now plugin disconnects instantly.

Been having this exact issue.

I'm having exactly the same issue since the last GOG update.

Here as well.

Same issue here

Same Issue. It is offline all time

Ok, applying these fixes seems to help with the connection: #24
Still, connection will be lost after 1 day again.

Enable and disable it does not help either.

The commits can only be integrated by the plugin owner (TouwaStar).

But its not too hard:

  • just look at the 3 files mentionend at https://github.com/TouwaStar/Galaxy_Plugin_Bethesda/pull/24/files
  • make a backup of each of the three files mentioned there (backend.py, consts.py and plugin.py). You can ignore the manifest.json, its only change is the version number.
  • open each file with an editor, remove the red lines, and instead add the green lines and save.
  • done.

btw. I did not get any disconnets until now. Seems to work perfectly fine with these changes.

that is helped thx
