Trixarian/NetherSX2-patch

Clarity with Instructions

Apologies if these seem like stupid questions - I just wanted to clarify a few points in your instructions.

  1. If I already have a NetherSX2 apk generated using the EzOnTheEyes script, is it correct that I'll never need to use the xdelta file? Is that just used if I need to generate the initial apk?

  2. Do I need to use both the patch-apk and update-files scripts with each release? Or if I've previously patched it at any point with the patch-apk script, do I only need to use the update-files script in future?

  1. Yes, xdelta is only required if you wish to generate the apk yourself. With 1.7, which partially integrates builder's ability into patch-apk, it's only needed it you wish to have a copy that uses the custom UI theme. Otherwise it just updates your copy of NetherSX2
  2. You can use either since they essentially do the same thing. With 1.7 only the patch-apk file exists for both jobs
