font-face plugin broken on static domain in firefox 3.6+

when the .cssp file is on a static domain, the fonts are on the same static domain, firefox wont show them. i tried a combination of www/no-www on both the website and the static component, nothing seems to work, every other browser interprets them correctly .... :|
