Crash after selecting the software

I'm on New Nintendo 3DS on CFW 11.8 (using latest version of Luma). Regardless of the way I try to run this homebrew (.cia or .3dsx) I get the same error with number e0a046e4 that happens in TWLCard.cpp line 143.
Additionally the version number on screen is 1.1 despite downloading version 1.2
UPDATE: After checking that file it seems this error occurs when the value of res variable is different than zero.
How did you fix this issue? I'm getting the same result.

sorry for late response.
back then I was on Luna3DS 9.1 if I recall correctly (looking at the https://github.com/LumaTeam/Luma3DS/releases to figure out the timeline), and now after both Luna3DS and firmware updates I can no longer reproduce this error (at least on .cia version, havent tested .3dsx)
TWLSaveTool launches fine and backing up saves from ds games works.
