[BUG]: Get stuck on "checking status of (ip)"

Describe the bug
When Ip is filled in the thunderbolt icon keeps spinning and in the debug logs it states that is checking for (ip). I cannot control the plug ATM

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Go to 'Settings'
  2. Click on 'Logging'
  3. Scroll down to 'TapoSmartplug'
  4. See error

Expected behavior
that i could control the plug via octoprint

Additional context
I'm not sure if you need to fill in by user-name and password, the user-name (not email) and password off your tapo app?
And when only on plug is set up. You need to ad /0 at the end of the ip address.

Same problem here, I'm about to sell my Tapo...

Username and password need to be the same as the Tapo App. The name of the plug also needs to be identical to the label you configure in Octoprint.

When using only 1 plug, no /0 is needed.

The e-mail address should be the username. I switched to an easier password with only 1 number and 7 letters. Maybe also use a simple e-mail address, without underscores etc.

I also have the same problem. I have tried with and with out [IP]/0 with no success. I have tried a simpler password. No success.
Any clue on how to sort this out?
