Wireless XBox360 controller doesn't work after "sleep"

After I used gopher360 XBox controller stopped working correctly.
As u know, wireless controllers go to sleep after some time of inactivity for battery life saving.
The symptoms:
After system boot and enabling XBox controller it works fine. But if controller goes into battery saving mode (disconnects from system) it never appear in it again. The indicator shows that it works, but system doesn't play sound of a connected hardware and controller is not shown in devices.
The only ways to force it to work - is to manually plug off XBox receiver from USB and plug in again or reboot the system.
Both methods are not acceptable.
Gopher executable have never been in startup and is not running.
Is there a way to restore everything this program did with system completely to restore normal functionality of hardware and system drivers?
What should I delete/restore/etc from system to get rid of this bug?
Gopher appears to not be related to your issue. Gopher only reads I/O mapping to determine where to move and when to click. It seems you might have a driver issue with your Xbox Reciever. Driver issues can cause damage to other applications and physical hardware if left for too long unmodified or worsened.
