gold depends on deprecated suidperl

Gold is written to rely on suidperl 'for client authentication'. suidperl has been deprecated by the perl community in favour of sudo and similar solutions. The RHEL7 perl (which we use) does not include suidperl. Investigate what needs to be done to ensure client authentication works
