Deaths page not displaying correct count for Deaths with COVID-19 on the death certificate

As at 16th August, the England NSO total is 169,285.

When I change the Location to United Kingdom the count doesn't change and appears to show the UK total is also 169,285

I checked the Download page to find latest UK total (by date registered) is 201,058 to 29/7/22

I found the workaround was to:

  1. set Location to UK
  2. then set it to Nation:England
  3. then set it to UK again
    Count updated to 201,058

Problem occurs on both mobile and desktop.
Desktop (please complete the following information):

  • OS: MacOS 11.6.8
  • Safari 15.6

Smartphone (please complete the following information):

  • Device: Sony Xperia XZ1
  • OS: Android 9
  • Browser: Chrome 104.0.5112.69
