Sorry, this got drowned in my notifications. Please confirm that you can boot without USBToolBox (of course, this will probably break your USB map, so keep that in mind) and then we can confirm from there. waitForMatchingService is not an issue as explained in #7.

Please upload your EFI, and just to confirm, disabling USBToolBox and your USB map will lead to a successful boot? Only those kexts, no other changes?

@jackacc Does it remain stuck there after 5-10 minutes? That's a weird place for it to hang and I'm still not convinced it's a kext error since #8 was due to a misconfigured EFI. Your EFI looks weird, too, as you have Inject NVIDIA on but are using a MBP14,1 SMBIOS?
@Act2ve Please list OS version and specs and upload a picture of where you're getting stuck and your EFI

have the same problem. On Jaguar APUs cant boot into high serria or big sur.waiting for solution
Any solutions to this? I am having the same issue on an HP ProDesk G3 i5-7500T. I premapped the ports on windows.
Tried both Ventura and Big Sur.
And you can confirm that it successfully boots when you disable your map and USBToolBox?
Hmm..., removed all USB kext, it hunged at apfs. Back to the drawing board.

USBToolBox.Kext and UTBMap.Kext combination, the computer will use this set of combinations in Ventura problems and solution, I deleted combination change USBMap.Kext,， USBMap.Kext fix for SMBIOS related Settings can be the same
Hello, I also had the same problem on redmibook pro 21, I had to turn off an xhc1 to enter the system normally.
Configuration: AMD 5600H
I can very much confirm this issue on my AMD laptop as well.
My solution to the problem is to replug an USB device on the controller mentioned on the error message.
If it says "USBToolBox: XHC0: waitForMatchingService failed or timed out" I just replug a USB drive or my wireless mouse dongle on the mentioned controller and it boots just fine. When I have both XHC controllers enabled I have to replug two USBs, one on each controller in order for the laptop to boot into OSX successfully.
I can attach a video if needed.
My device is Legion 5 pro (r7 5800H),can't boot if didn't disable 1 XCH port in bios.
I tested without usbtoolbox and 2 XCH port enable in bios:
1).plug 1 usb in each XCH port while boot,stuck at here:
2).plug 0 usb in each XCH port while boot,stuck at here:
or here：
3).in 2) plug and replug 1 usb in each XCH port ,boot successfully.( replug way really works)

amd device solved by add this kext: https://github.com/RattletraPM/GUX-RyzenXHCIFix
Same here, also stuck at it
I made sure i was below 15 port limit, also it identified 2 usb 2.0 ports as 3 so i changed that to 2.0
Plugging and unplugging USB devices is also a good idea, looking forward to solving the problem
I had this same issue, and managed to fix it by setting "UEFI->Quirks->ReleaseUSBownership" to True in OpenCore.
