Support multiple formats of PDF file retrieval from external URL

Currently our supported suffixes for external report file retrieval using URL are : image/jpeg, text/plain, image/png, image/jpeg, application/pdf, text/csv, image/gif.

Not sure if we need an extension to support remote file retrieval, but we have a number sites with PDF files with no .pdf extension.
